Educational administration requires a thorough knowledge and application of motivation which have been widely proved to be applicable in educational setting.In this topic a number of theories of motivation are discussed.

Summary
There are two categories of theories of motivation.These are content theories and process theories.content theories of motivation include, Maslow's Hierachy of needs, Herzberg's Two Factor Theory and ERG Theory.
